I’m Ivan Aguilar, a 32-year-old architect and designer from Mexico City. I’m the founder of PiedraSanta, my own design studio, and a big part of my life revolves around architecture, objects, creativity, and the people I meet through that world. I’m very close to my family and love spending time with my parents, my two older brothers, and my nieces. I’m also very close to my friends and really value having a trusted circle of people around me. I enjoy sharing time with the people I care about, but I also love meeting new people and building genuine connections, especially with people I admire, can learn from, or who bring a different perspective into my life. I enjoy staying active and taking care of myself, whether that means working out, running, playing football, or eating well, while still making plenty of room for great food and discovering new places. I love music, reading, traveling, exploring cities, and finding interesting spots even in my own neighborhood. I’m also a very clean, organized, and tidy person. I really enjoy having my surroundings in order and taking care of the spaces I live in. I think that probably has a lot to do with my love for architecture, interiors, and design in general. I’m naturally curious and independent, and I’m working toward a life that gives me the freedom to keep creating, traveling, working from different places, and spending my time doing the things that genuinely matter to me.
