I believe travel works best when it’s an exchange, not just accommodation. Along with good conversations and respectful company, I can also help with creative work, filming, photography, social media content, event assistance, and other hands-on all kind of tasks wherever useful.”

I’m a bit shy, so I’m not usually the first to speak up in a room, but watch out: as soon as people ask me questions and I feel a bit more at ease, I can be a real chatterbox. I love trying new things on my own, meeting new people and hearing them talk about their passions and their lives. I’ve been living away from home for 10 years. I have just graduated with a degree in medicine, and during my studies I spent six months on an Erasmus exchange in Greece and ten months in Romania. I always have my earphones in: I mainly listen to Italian indie music, international pop and rock, and techno. I love going dancing and to concerts. I’ve been vegan for four years and I love cooking and constantly experimenting with new flavours and recipes.

I am a disciplined and motivated individual based in Oran, Algeria, with experience as a pizzaiolo and preseller, as well as an active athlete. My professional background has helped me develop strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure. I am fluent in English, which allows me to communicate effectively with diverse teams and adapt easily in international environments. I have a strong passion for learning and personal growth, and I enjoy reading and exploring a wide range of topics to better understand the world. Beyond my work, I genuinely enjoy helping people and creating a positive atmosphere. I have a friendly personality, a good sense of humor, and I connect easily with others. I am reliable, adaptable, and always ready to learn. I am looking for volunteer opportunities where I can contribute, support others, and continue growing both personally and professionally.
Sports reading drawing and cooking. I also enjoy meeting new people and having good conversations.

I am a first‑year university student from Hong Kong, and this trip is during my summer break. I would like to make good use of this time to broaden my horizons and experience daily life in Europe. I will visit London in July for my brother’s graduation and hope to find one or two host families in Europe before the ceremony. I plan to travel solo from 23/05/2026 to 15/07/2026 and would like to stay with each host for around two weeks. I enjoy listening to people’s stories, learning about different cultures, and spending time in nature and with animals (although I am afraid of snakes). I eat almost everything and am happy to try new food, but I do not handle very spicy dishes well. At home, I help with cooking and housework. I can cook simple meals, and I enjoy baking desserts, but I am more used to an electric stove than to cooking over a gas flame or real fire. I am happy to help with daily chores, gardening, or pet care (except snakes), and I am open to learning new skills. I am quiet at first, but happy to chat once I feel comfortable. I speak Chinese and English, and I learned some Portuguese during a one‑year AFS exchange in Goiânia, Brazil, where I lived with several host families. I would be glad to practise languages together—learning your language while sharing mine. I respect house rules and routines. Please explain them clearly at the beginning, because I cannot know or guess rules that have not been discussed. As there may be cultural differences, I appreciate direct communication rather than hints or indirect messages. If something is not working well, I would like us to talk openly to find a solution together. Having dinner together is important to me, as it is often the best time to share our day and get to know each other. I may need a little time to learn new tasks and to open up in a non‑native language, but I am responsible, adaptable, and always try my best.

My name is Khawla, and I am a motivated and dedicated applicant from Morocco. I have experience working with children as a volunteer Arabic teacher in a local association. This experience helped me develop patience, communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. I truly enjoy supporting children and creating a positive and safe environment for them. In addition, I am well-organized and enjoy cooking, which allows me to contribute to daily activities and help maintain a comfortable and structured environment. I am eager to improve my English, gain international experience, and fully immerse myself in a new culture. I am responsible, adaptable, and ready to commit seriously to any tasks assigned to me. I would be very grateful for the opportunity to be part of your team and contribute positively. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to your reply. Kind regards
