What is home swapping?
Home swapping (also called home exchange) is when two travellers agree to stay at each other's homes. You stay at theirs while they stay at yours — either simultaneously or at different times. No money changes hands for accommodation.

How do I list my home for swapping?
Sign up for a free account, go to Edit Profile → Hosting Settings, select "Home Swap" as an offer type, and fill in the Home Swap Details section. Describe your home, its features, your location, availability, and where you'd like to swap to.
Can I do a non-simultaneous swap?
Absolutely. Many members arrange swaps where they visit at different times. You visit their city in the summer; they visit yours in the winter. It's entirely up to you and your swap partner to agree on timing.
What about insurance and security?
We recommend having home insurance that covers third-party guests, creating a written agreement with your swap partner covering responsibilities, exchanging a security deposit if desired, and doing a video call before committing to a swap.
What makes a good home swap listing?
Include clear photos of your home, describe the accommodation (number of rooms, amenities), mention your location and what's nearby, list availability dates, and be clear about house rules and any pets.
