About Shibas

Hi, I’m Shibas, a filmmaker, cinematographer, photographer, and traveller from Kerala, India. I love travelling slowly, meeting people from different cultures, listening to their stories, and experiencing places beyond the usual tourist routes. I’m curious, easygoing, and enjoy meaningful conversations, photography, films, food, nature, and discovering local life. I’ve worked in advertising, documentaries, corporate films, photography, and post-production, and I’m currently working towards making my own films. I’m also happy to contribute and help wherever I can. I enjoy gardening, farming, cooking, maintaining a home or property, and helping with everyday work. I’m comfortable getting my hands dirty and would be happy to exchange my time and skills while staying with a host or participating in a volunteer project. For me, Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to stay. It’s about human connection, sharing experiences, learning from each other, and making genuine friendships along the way. I believe every person and every place has a story worth discovering.
