Im a primary school arts teacher, who loves music (particularly house, breaks, techno, dub/reggae and hiphop) stand up comedy, travelling and meeting new people. I have been to : Mexico, USA, Canada , England(lived in London for 3 years) Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Hungary, Netherlands, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, New Zealand, Singapore and Indonesia (Bali) and still loads more places I want to see! Japan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam are on my list, as are the Balkan countries. I hosted couch surfers and couch surfed myself in Europe many years ago in the pre covid days and always had great experiences. I have met lots of cool people in my travels and always enjoyed that part of travelling, which doesn't seem to happen as much now that I'm getting older. I thought I would join this site to connect with likeminded people and open up my spare room for travellers passing through Brisbane looking for somewhere to stay, or versa - hoping others might do the same. I don't "party" like I used to, but I still enjoy a night out here and there and I try to support local djs where possible. So if you're into similar music, I can possibly offer an introduction to the Brisbane music scene :)

hi, my name is Alice. I dont know where to go, starting life seems complex, so i would like to travel maybe. Sometimes my english is very fluent, sometimes i dont remember verbs or how to build a phrase, other times im too shy to even speak. Im a bit hyperactive when i feel okay. I like to talk when the conversation is not forced, im not good with small talks because i forget to ask little things. If you like to walk then we can hang out togheter, explore abandoned places ecc ecc. I dont know how Is It to share a week with an unknown person so if it will happen i would be a bit anxious and maybe seem weird, but i think that weirdness at the begin Is completely natural even if its uncomfortable. thanks for reading 🥳
