LucyT1981 Im a primary school arts teacher, who loves music (particularly house, breaks, techno, dub/reggae and hiphop) stand up comedy, travelling and meeting new people.
I have been to : Mexico, USA, Canada , England(lived in London for 3 years) Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Hungary, Netherlands, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, New Zealand, Singapore and Indonesia (Bali) and still loads more places I want to see! Japan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam are on my list, as are the Balkan countries.
I hosted couch surfers and couch surfed myself in Europe many years ago in the pre covid days and always had great experiences. I have met lots of cool people in my travels and always enjoyed that part of travelling, which doesn't seem to happen as much now that I'm getting older. I thought I would join this site to connect with likeminded people and open up my spare room for travellers passing through Brisbane looking for somewhere to stay, or versa - hoping others might do the same. I don't "party" like I used to, but I still enjoy a night out here and there and I try to support local djs where possible. So if you're into similar music, I can possibly offer an introduction to the Brisbane music scene :)

c3lai hi, my name is Alice. I dont know where to go, starting life seems complex, so i would like to travel maybe. Sometimes my english is very fluent, sometimes i dont remember verbs or how to build a phrase, other times im too shy to even speak. Im a bit hyperactive when i feel okay. I like to talk when the conversation is not forced, im not good with small talks because i forget to ask little things.
If you like to walk then we can hang out togheter, explore abandoned places ecc ecc. I dont know how Is It to share a week with an unknown person so if it will happen i would be a bit anxious and maybe seem weird, but i think that weirdness at the begin Is completely natural even if its uncomfortable.
thanks for reading 🥳

Fabi Hi! I'm Fabi, Chilean living in Berlin 🌿
I'm a calm, clean and very respectful guest. I love cinema, hiking and quiet evenings with good conversation and tea.
I travel slowly — I like to stay for a week or two in one place to really get to know the neighborhood and live like a local, rather than just doing tourist stuff.
I'm super independent and tidy, I clean up after myself and I'm very respectful of your space and routines. I'm happy to help with small things around the house if needed.
Thanks for reading! Hope we can meet :)

Duhawma You can call me DUHAWMA.
I live in the exotic city of Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram, in the mountainous northeastern part of India.
I love traveling and exploring new places. I like going to the gym. I’m a mountain creature, I can’t swim!
I’m not looking for a relationship. I take my faith seriously and I’m a member of the choir at my local church. I'm also a Sunday School teacher.

Know_It_Poet I'm a quiet, respectful, and dependable traveler who believes the best experiences come from genuine human connection. My background is in luxury hospitality, where I spent years creating memorable experiences for guests through my work as a live typewriter poet at hotels, weddings, and events. Meeting people from all walks of life has taught me to be adaptable, appreciative, and easy to live with.
I'm naturally tidy, communicate clearly, and always treat someone else's home with the same respect I would hope they'd show mine. I enjoy meaningful conversations over a shared meal or coffee, but I'm equally happy keeping to myself if that's your preference. I work independently on my laptop and spend my days writing, reading, exploring local neighborhoods, and creating poetry for people I meet.
Animals hold a special place in my heart, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and other pets. Long walks, quiet evenings, and discovering local parks or cafés are some of my favorite ways to experience a new place.
I'm currently traveling while rebuilding after a difficult chapter in my life, and I'm using this opportunity to reconnect with community, creativity, and purpose. I value kindness, honesty, and gratitude, and I hope every host feels they gained a respectful guest rather than simply offered a place to stay.
Whether we end up sharing stories over dinner or simply exchanging a friendly hello each day, my goal is to leave every place a little warmer than I found it.
