Hi! I'm Farzin, a backpacker from Iran who loves slow travel, hitchhiking, camping, and meeting people from different cultures. For me, traveling isn't about checking famous places off a list. It's about conversations with strangers, sharing meals, hearing local stories, and experiencing how people actually live. Some of my favorite travel memories come from unexpected moments on the road rather than famous tourist attractions. I enjoy hiking, spending nights under the stars, reading, photography (I'm currently falling in love with analog photography), and keeping a travel journal. I also like learning about local traditions, food, music, and the little everyday things that make each place unique. Outside of traveling, I'm studying Business Management and learning programming because I want to build a career that gives me the freedom to explore more of the world. I'm an easygoing person who appreciates honesty, curiosity, and meaningful conversations. Whether it's talking about books, history, travel stories, psychology, daily life, or just laughing over cultural differences, I'm always happy to connect with open-minded people. I'm new to international hitchhiking, but I'm excited to experience the world one road, one conversation, and one friendship at a time. Looking forward to meeting you somewhere along the way!

Hello, I’m Mohamed from Cairo, Egypt 🇪🇬 I have been working as a pharmacy assistant for several years, which gave me solid experience in healthcare and dealing with people from different backgrounds. I’m responsible, patient, and always ready to help when needed. I’m a respectful, clean, and easy-going person. I value honesty, good communication, and creating a comfortable atmosphere wherever I stay. I enjoy learning about new cultures and connecting with people from around the world. I’m also practical and helpful — I can assist with daily tasks like cleaning, organizing, and simple home maintenance. With my healthcare background, I can also help with basic medical needs or advice if needed. I studied at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where I developed discipline, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to different environments. Currently, I’m exploring opportunities to travel, exchange cultures, and gain new experiences. I’m happy to contribute in different ways in exchange for accommodation and support. I always respect house rules and aim to leave a positive impression. At the moment, I’m not able to host, but I hope to do so in the future 😊 Looking forward to meeting you!

Hello! My name is Shawn Peters, and I’ve been a professional hairstylist, salon educator, and consultant for over 26 years. My career now takes me throughout the country, where I work with salon owners to help launch new salons, improve existing businesses, and educate stylists in the latest cutting, coloring, and client service techniques. I’m currently based in the St. Louis area for the next several months while assisting with these projects and helping a longtime friend and colleague grow Traveling Angels Beauty Salon, a mobile salon dedicated to serving seniors and individuals whose age, health, or mobility makes it difficult to visit a traditional salon. If you’d like to learn more about me or the work we do, please visit www.travelingangelsbeautysalon.com. My schedule is very flexible, and I generally spend only a few hours in the salon a couple of days each week, so your home and pets would rarely be left alone for long. I travel with my 11-year-old French Bulldog, Speed, whom I inherited after my mother’s passing. He was once a show dog and is exceptionally well-mannered, quiet, house-trained, and friendly with other dogs and pets. He has his own bed that travels everywhere with us and is happiest simply relaxing nearby. I’m a non-smoker with reliable transportation, and I take pride in being clean, organized, respectful, and dependable. My profession has always been built on trust, and I understand the confidence it takes to invite someone into your home. Whether caring for your pets, collecting the mail, watering plants, or simply making sure everything is safe and well cared for while you’re away, I will treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. Professional and personal references are available upon request. Thank you for considering me—I would be honored to care for your home and your beloved pets while you’re away.
