JUU Hey there, I’m currently traveling around the world and trying to find myself. I have no idea who I am. I don’t think I’ve ever really known. Maybe you can help me with that?
I like uncomplicated people, deep conversations, hikes, nature and a beer or two. If I can stay with you, I don’t have any expectations. The showerhead doesn’t work? No problem. The toilet seat is missing? No problem. No kitchen? No problem.
For the past days, I’ve been freshening up in the restroom at a gas station. I don’t need much, just some water and a blanket over my head is enough. If you’re around, that’s fine too. If you need some space for yourself and are just putting up with me, I can understand that.
I’m an artist and psychologist - two perspectives on the same core: human experience and behavior.
My art explores darkness, vulnerability, and inner states. I work intuitively and emotionally, trying to make visible what words sometimes fail to express.
Now I’m trading my studio and everyday life for a backpack and the open road. I’m hitchhiking through Eastern Europe, heading towards Asia, Australia, and eventually South America. Where exactly? No idea. I have no fixed plan. I want to go with the flow, meet people, and collect stories along the way.
My motto: “I don’t know the plan. But everything is going according to plan.”
Every now and then, I’m looking for a place to sleep along the way. I’m easygoing and have no high expectations – a roof over my head is more than enough. A shower would be nice, and being able to do some laundry would be even better. But none of it is a must. I’m simply grateful for a bit of hospitality, good conversations, and the people I meet along the way.

Hey everyone,
That’s me. My name is Alina and I’m a German student. Currently I do a lot of planning for traveling the following year(s). By next summer I’ll have finished the school and head out in the world for some adventures :) Until now and if my plans should not change im going to spend a half year in Europe and Central Asia as well as South Asia. I’m pretty exited since this is not my very first solo trip but the first time going that far away for such a long duration. If you’d like to share some experiences, skills, tips or think about meeting me somewhere feel free to get in touch.

kristyna_kadleckova Hi, I’m Kristýna. I’d like to exchange apartments with someone, ideally somewhere in Europe, so that both of us can discover a new place. If you’re interested, let me know and maybe we can arrange something. I’m open to anything:)

ShishiraNavneeth Hello! 👋🏻
We are Shish (F) and Nav (M) - and we're a married couple from Bangalore, a city in southern India! We love travel, meeting new people and curious about life in all countries - and that's how we landed here on CS!
We left home in May 2022 and have been travelling full-time since then - spending the last three years exploring beautiful lands and cultures, making new friends and learning so much!
In the last one year, we Hitchhiked across Africa - from Nairobi, Kenya to Cape Town, South Africa - covering 20,000 kms with stops along the way! And over the last few months we travelled through China, Mongolia and Siberia before making our way to Europe!
Oh, we're vegetarian 🌱 (don't eat meat, chicken, fish, etc.) - it’s hard to survive in some places, but we’ve managed fine in most countries.
We document our travel on our YouTube channel - just search for "Nav and Shish" 👬🏻

Jhnantn Hi everyone! I'm Anton and i live just outside the city of Kiruna in a mobile tiny home. I'm currently in the process of fixing up another older permanent cabin so i can rent it out/having guests on my property(this project is postponed). I live with health challenges that make daily life more difficult, which is why any help I get is truly appreciated.
During winter I don't have a lot of work, mostly keeping my tiny home clean and tidy and maybe shovel some snow If it snows. During summer help me pick berries in the midnight sun. Maybe help renovate or building a small cabin.
I live quite rural in the outskirts of a village, located just outside the city of Kiruna. Having Europe's last wilderness just outside the door. With wild animals and Aurora borealis, just a step outside. Some nice trails for nordic skiing, hiking and biking directly from the cabin. I also have a snowmobile if you are interested in trying that.
I like to be outdoors. Preferably on a pair of skiis or biking/hiking in the summer. meditating and love meeting people from other countries/cultures. :)

moses_ebanks Hey! I’m Moses 👋🏽
I’m originally from the Cayman Islands and recently made the big move to Bristol, UK. I’m at a point in life where I really want to explore more of the world, meet interesting people, and collect experiences rather than just things.
I’m naturally curious, easygoing and pretty social. I love discovering the character of a place through the people who live there — local food, music, hidden spots, spontaneous adventures, good conversations and those random moments that end up becoming your favourite memories.
I’m also a creative at heart. I make little travel/lifestyle films, love music and dancing, and I’m always up for anything that gets me out of my comfort zone. I’m equally happy wandering around a new city all day, finding a beautiful piece of nature, going to a gig or festival, grabbing drinks with new friends, or having a chilled evening talking about life.
I’m respectful of people’s homes and boundaries, clean and considerate, and I’m very much about mutual exchange rather than treating someone’s home like free accommodation. If I stay with you, I’d love to contribute somehow — whether that’s cooking dinner, sharing stories, exploring together, or simply bringing good energy into the space.
I’m hoping to travel more through a combination of house-sitting, volunteering, homestays and Couchsurfing, especially while I’m getting settled into life in Europe.
If you’re someone who enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds, sharing experiences and saying “why not?” to a spontaneous adventure, I think we’ll get along just fine. 🌍✨

fitztiffany Hi, I’m Tiffany. I'm a quiet, tidy, and joyful traveler spending the next few months exploring Europe while navigating relocating to Ireland. I’m an extroverted introvert who reads the room well and helps shared spaces feel welcoming. I’m respectful of privacy, comfortable in my own company, and easy to live with. I work remotely as a freelance writer and consulting strategist, so I’m used to balancing independence with collaboration and fitting into different household rhythms.
I’m kind, reliable, adaptable, and detail‑oriented. I’m comfortable with cooking, organizing, caring for animals, and keeping shared living spaces running smoothly. I settle easily into both shared or solitary routines, and I genuinely enjoy contributing wherever I’m useful. I value compassion, honesty, integrity, and a cozy, peaceful home environment.
I’m comfortable in rural or quiet settings and happy to follow household norms. I communicate clearly, ask questions when needed, and am mindful of balancing my remote‑work schedule with being a considerate guest.
I’m grateful for any short‑term landing support while I settle in and begin building community locally. I’m also happy to do a brief video chat so we can meet properly and make sure we’re both comfortable.

maximi1186 Hi, I'm Maxi from Germany.
I've been traveling the world as a nomad since 2010. These days you'll usually find me in India during the winter and somewhere in Europe during the summer.
I enjoy meaningful conversations, learning about different cultures and sharing stories from over 16 years of traveling.
If we meet, I'm happy to cook a vegetarian meal, exchange travel tips, practice yoga together or simply spend an evening talking about life, philosophy and different ways of seeing the world.
For me, Couchsurfing is about genuine human connection, kindness and cultural exchange. I always try to be respectful, open minded and easy to be around.
Looking forward to meeting you somewhere in the world!

LucyT1981 Im a primary school arts teacher, who loves music (particularly house, breaks, techno, dub/reggae and hiphop) stand up comedy, travelling and meeting new people.
I have been to : Mexico, USA, Canada , England(lived in London for 3 years) Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Hungary, Netherlands, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, New Zealand, Singapore and Indonesia (Bali) and still loads more places I want to see! Japan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam are on my list, as are the Balkan countries.
I hosted couch surfers and couch surfed myself in Europe many years ago in the pre covid days and always had great experiences. I have met lots of cool people in my travels and always enjoyed that part of travelling, which doesn't seem to happen as much now that I'm getting older. I thought I would join this site to connect with likeminded people and open up my spare room for travellers passing through Brisbane looking for somewhere to stay, or versa - hoping others might do the same. I don't "party" like I used to, but I still enjoy a night out here and there and I try to support local djs where possible. So if you're into similar music, I can possibly offer an introduction to the Brisbane music scene :)
