nanaminyoga I’m Nanami from Japan — a yoga instructor passionate about connecting with people from all over the world. In September 2025, I will begin my Working Holiday in Valencia, Spain, to immerse myself in Spanish culture, improve my Spanish skills, and share what I can offer in return.
My biggest motivation is to create and share meaningful experiences, whether through teaching yoga, cooking together, or enjoying good conversations over tea. I feel happiest when I’m learning something new, exploring local traditions, and working as part of a team toward a shared goal.
I’m passionate about wellness, mindfulness, and building bridges between cultures. Through Workaway, I hope to exchange skills, contribute to local communities, and make genuine connections with people from all walks of life. I’m adaptable, open-minded, and always happy to help wherever I’m needed.

Rohanstoryteller I am an IT graduate who has quit his job for traveling. I am passionate about trekking, photography, history and cinema. Apart from that I love cooking, sketching, driving and listening to music. A true art lover at heart and an explorer of the world. Also a little into astronomy and astro-photography. I play the uke, djembe and happy drum. Currently researching on a Japanese meditation technique called Shinrin Yoku (healing through nature). Love to meet new people, make new friends and have an enriching culture exchange between them.

Hello, my name is Riki and I am from India. I am looking for a cultural exchange homestay in Japan. I can help with English conversation and simple tasks. I already have my travel documents. Do you provide free accommodation and meals for guests who help around the home?

LucyT1981 Im a primary school arts teacher, who loves music (particularly house, breaks, techno, dub/reggae and hiphop) stand up comedy, travelling and meeting new people.
I have been to : Mexico, USA, Canada , England(lived in London for 3 years) Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Hungary, Netherlands, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, New Zealand, Singapore and Indonesia (Bali) and still loads more places I want to see! Japan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam are on my list, as are the Balkan countries.
I hosted couch surfers and couch surfed myself in Europe many years ago in the pre covid days and always had great experiences. I have met lots of cool people in my travels and always enjoyed that part of travelling, which doesn't seem to happen as much now that I'm getting older. I thought I would join this site to connect with likeminded people and open up my spare room for travellers passing through Brisbane looking for somewhere to stay, or versa - hoping others might do the same. I don't "party" like I used to, but I still enjoy a night out here and there and I try to support local djs where possible. So if you're into similar music, I can possibly offer an introduction to the Brisbane music scene :)

Nupel am a teacher living in Istanbul currently. I am an energetic and admirer person who is into learning new cultures&traditions and meeting new people; learning their ways of living, their stories and also sharing mine.
There is a saying in Turkey: "The differences(in races, religions, traditions, gender differences etc.) are our richness". I totally agree and try to live my life by getting something different that I believe will make me personally richer and extend my point of view.
I do exercises regularly and practice yoga. I love being active though also love to spend time by myself at home. I am rooted and roaming.
I map memories, chase cultures, collect stories, everything about traveling, human, emotions.
+* The idea of meeting people who live in different parts of the world with different cultures, learning from them&sharing with one other is just amazing. I love diversity and get lost in exploration of this diversity.
I can host travelers when I am available and join
or tell them some tips to explore Istanbul. Actually ! don't like last minutes requests since I have a daily routine of doing exercises & yoga, cooking, having friends &relatives or meeting friends, Yet I can accept some last minute requests only in case I may be available that day.
I feel so lucky to visit some dream countries and
cities around the world and that gave me lots of experiences in many aspects. But I think the most important point is to thank ourselves for leaving our comfort zones to give ourselves the chance of doing what we love. And I am quite thankful and grateful for what I could do untill now d
