Hey! I’m Matthew, from Ontario, Canada. I’m a pretty easygoing and independent person who enjoys travelling, being outdoors, meeting new people and experiencing places beyond the usual tourist side of things. I’ve spent the last few years working in different hands-on jobs, including maintenance with Ontario Parks. I’m used to physical work, working with tools, cleaning and maintaining facilities, fixing things and figuring problems out as they come up. I also enjoy working on cars and electronics in my spare time, so I’ve always been someone who likes learning by actually doing things. Travelling has become a big part of my life. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit places like Italy, Portugal, Spain, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and the United States, and some of my favourite experiences have come from simply exploring somewhere new and getting to know the people and culture. I’m comfortable doing my own thing, but I also enjoy being part of a good group and helping out wherever I’m needed. I’m not afraid of getting my hands dirty, I pick up new things pretty quickly, and I try to approach new experiences with an open mind. At this point in my life I’m looking to travel more, meet interesting people, learn some new skills and hopefully contribute something useful along the way.
